Hi, I’m Dishant Pujara.

I’m a writer, director, and creative producer with a background that bridges engineering, production, and narrative craft. My work is driven by a long standing commitment to creating visual stories and campaigns that genuinely resonate with audiences.

I grew up surrounded by movies and the communities they create. Even before I had words for it, storytelling shaped how I understood the world. I didn’t follow a traditional film school path; instead, I learned by doing. Over the years, I’ve worked as a gaffer, boom operator, assistant camera, production assistant, and videographer. Every role on set taught me how films actually get made and how each department contributes to the emotional weight of a final frame.

My journey has been unconventional and imperfect, but it’s grounded in persistence, curiosity, and an honest dedication to the craft. I care deeply about the films I make and the people I make them with.

My influences include Satyajit Ray, Martin Scorsese, Akira Kurosawa, François Truffaut, Christopher Nolan, Ridley Scott, and Rajkumar Hirani — filmmakers who proved that rigor, humanity, and ambition can coexist on screen.

If we work together, my goal is to develop creative projects that are visually thoughtful, emotionally meaningful, and aligned with the mission behind them. I focus on work that not only looks strong but carries purpose.
