hi I’m Dishant Pujara, but you can call me Dish!

i’m a writer, director and creative producer with a background spanning engineering, production, and storytelling — united by one goal: to craft creative campaigns that resonate with audiences.

growing up, i enjoyed nonstop movie marathons with friends and family, sticking candy wrappers into the sofa cushions hoping my mom wouldn’t find them. she did.

but for one reason or another, i never really allowed myself to take that dream i had then and make it real. i always had this desire for storytelling. so I wrote. practically all the time, about everything and anything.

i have not gone to film school (turns out no prior experience doesn’t look great on an application), instead I worked in various capacities as a gaffer, boom operator, assistant camera, production assistant, videographer; pretty much any thing involving a camera or being on set. My journey is any thing far from typical, some would say less than stellar, and definitely not the ideal role model, but i like to make films and i care about each film that i make.

some of my influences include satyajit ray, martin scorcese, akira kurosawa, francois truffaut, christopher nolan, ridley scott and rajkumar hirani.
